Just putting it out there...

Although I publish most of what I write on here, there have been some recent entries that I have chosen not to share on social media, namely, Facebook.

I'm not sure of who actually subscribes to this blog, if any.  (I've noticed that most of the people that I have followed in the past, have not been submitting entries.  For some bloggers it has been literally years.)  So this may be seen by only a few or a dozen people.  It really doesn't matter.  Because of the sensitive and personal material, I'm not sharing publicly for a number of reasons, that I will not disclose, but at the same time, I'm not going to make any excuses for not expressing myself on my blog.

The last thing I want to do is humiliate or offend anyone.  I'm writing entries for myself; no one else.

Take it or leave it…

Why not go private and only invite those you wanna have read your blog read it?

Make an announcement on here to email you at whatever@whatever.com and make the subject add me to private blog then add their gmail addresses to your allow list and viola you can blast whatever you want because only those you want can read what you write :) :P

I think when it comes to blogging you should share only what you're comfortable with. I'm sure every blogger feels like they've over shared at one point or another and perhaps the harsh comments of others still ring in your ears when you look to post again. I say forget them. I share only what I'm comfortable with sharing. And the things I do share are my thoughts, feelings and opinions. I don't expect them to be the same as others but I do expect someone to voice their differences without profanities or name calling. That's just part of being an adult and a decent human being.

Thanks Christopher and Shermeen for your comments. I don't think I'll go private. I'm just going to write what I feel comfortable with--some I'll publish, others I won't. Fortunately I've never had to deal with rude people when I choose to share my opinions. :)
